Senior Speech Pathologist in DECEPTION BAY, Queensland

The director of Gogetspeech is a highly skilled clinician providing a specialist speech pathology service to the paediatric population of North Brisbane. Due to increased demands and her return to post graduate education, Gogetspeech are sourcing a senior clinician to support the director, and provide an excellent clinical service alongside the other speech pathologists and occupational therapists within the practise.
Essental criteria:
Minimum two years experience working within a paediatric speech pathology role.
Experience providing individual and group therapy to children, young people and their families.
Well-developed communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
High level time management and case load management skills.
Willingness to work as part of a team
Desireable Criteria:
Clinical and therapeutic understanding of the impacts of a wide variety of disabilities on child development and family functioning.
Training in PECS, sensory processing, hanen, makaton, prompt, reading doctor, play, dysfluency (lidcombe), myofunctional therapy.
Knowledge of current trauma treatment trends and child protection legislation and policy reforms.
A high level of cultural awareness and experience working with families from different backgrounds.
Experience of working with and alongside other allied health personnell.
PART-TIME - $73,950-$81,050 pro rata ( + super)
